Krisztina is forced into marriage during the Nazi regime. Widowed by the war, she remarries and transforms her chateau into a hotel. Her daughter Ella leaves for New York to set up a replica - Chateau Ella. But Nazi sentiments still threaten the success of her marriage and and her hotel. The author's parents were Jewish refugees who escaped Nazi Germany in 1939. She formerly produced plays for radio and is the author of "In Love and Friendship".
